Ever since the "Fear the Black" campaign by Bajaj, the Pulsar 180 has taken the sales charts with vigour unseen by the previous versions- the classic, the v1 and the v2 (this being the v2.1) of the 180cc big-brother.
The advantage has been two fold. The Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar 180, both sharing most parts except the engine displacement and the gearshift pattern etc, are leading people into buying the black treatment for their 150cc pulsars. Nice!
You get Black Alloys (as opposed to the standard Silver Alloys of the Pulsar 150), which are a perfect fit, for about 3.5 grand.
Engine can be powder coated, as can the exhaust.
